I was planning to have S&R’s New York Style dessert pizza called Nutella Strawberry earlier today, but sadly, it has been replaced. Fortunately, the replacement is another dessert pizza. It is called S’mores Pizza. Yes, S’mores like the one kids make with marshmallows, chocolates and crackers in a raring campfire while they tell or listen to horror stories. Of course, I did not let the chance of tasting this sweet yet evil concoction slip through my fingers.
S’mores Pizza is everything the little girl (or boy) scouts in all of us imagine it to be. It has graham crackers with a spread of chocolate, topped with gooey marshmallows and dotted with Hershey’s chocolate chips. It is the amalgamation of all the sweet sins one has to indulge in once or twice a week. I like sweets, but this one is just a tad too sweet for me. Also, the crust is thicker and harder than their other pizzas. However, the overly indulgent sweetness and overly hard crust did not detract me from savoring every bite, licking chocolate off my fingers and smacking my lips to show my appreciation.
