In and Around the Metro

I have been taking random photos of the things I see in Metro Manila. These are the ones I have snapped while travelling from Quezon City to San Juan City, and a side trip to the City of Manila.

Jeepney. Jeepneys are the most common mode of transportation in the Philippines. One can see them from Aparri to Jolo. This beautifully-designed jeepney was parked in Mall of Asia.

The same jeepney from the rear view.

MRT - Cubao Station at 1pm on a holiday. On an ordinary working day, this platform is crawling with people.

The view of EDSA from MRT - Cubao Station at 7pm on a workday. EDSA is the most important thoroughfare in Metro Manila.

The queue at the exit of MRT - North Avenue Station. This line of people is actually short compared to the ones during peak hours.

LRT 2 - J. Ruiz Station at 1230pm (top) and at 6pm (bottom).

LRT 2 train with ads on its sides

LRT 2 train without the ads. Like a fresh faced woman, it looks better without the make-up.

One of the commercial buildings I see from the MRT train windows from Cubao to North Avenue.

The construction sites as seen from the MRT train window.

Quezon Avenue from the MRT train window. The tall white structure at the far end of the photo is the Quezon Memorial.
