Cheradel Suites is a six-building complex that promotes homestay guesting with residential ambience and amenities, which include swimming pool and sauna bath facilities. The three main buildings house the varied suites and rooms while the remaining three serve as function halls. The whole complex is within an exclusive location with 24-hour security and control gates.
During my last stay at Cheradel Suites, I had the great misfortune to be in Iligan City when droves of people were there for an important government-related meeting. I was not able to get the spacious room that I had before. What I got was something with a profusion of blue. I love blue, but blue wastebasket and blue toilet bowl were just a little too much.
Cheradel Suites had friendly staff, from the receptionists to the pool boy. The café offered generous amounts of breakfast and their chocolate cake was decent. Service was fast and efficient. The vintage cars on display near the pool served as nice talking points while waiting for food to arrive. The air outside the rooms was fresh and smelled like the grassland.
On the downside, the rooms in Cheradel Suites have no flat irons. Although pressing service was available, my schedule did not permit me to have my clothes pressed during my stays there. In addition to this, the Wi-Fi in the second floor was slow or unavailable most of the time.

I was glad to see the blue beds when I opened the door. Blue is my favorite color and seeing it after a long day was relaxing. I was alone in the room, and the bed to the right remained untouched.
The sitting area was predominantly blue as well. The window covered by the curtain is directly next to a sitting area outside. I found out only when I heard people talking like they were inside the room.
The shower that was too high for me. I had to stand on tiptoes to adjust the nozzle. At midnight and at 4am, I discovered that I did not have the hand-eye coordination to do so. I could barely reach the soap bars.
