Pete Velasquez 8th One-Man Exhibit: Landscapes of the Countryside in Gateway Gallery showcases the vibrant colors and evocative images of the essence of the sceneries from General Santos to Wawa.
Mr. Pete Velasquez is a visual artist in painting and professional photography. He performed his first One-Man show in 2015 at Sining Kamalig dubbed “Tranquilla” where he exhibited watercolor landscapes and Philippine colonial churches done intricately in pen and ink. Since then, Mr. Velasquez has mounted seven more exhibits. For this particular exhibit, he used the photographs he took during his motorcycling days as inspiration. Some of those photos include depictions of sunrise and sunset, rural sceneries of different towns, and nature.

How to get to Gateway Gallery:
1. Take the LRT-2 to Araneta Center-Cubao Station. The exit is adjacent to Gateway Mall. Take the elevator to the 5th floor or the escalator to the cinema lobby of Gateway Mall. It is to the left of the theaters when facing the ticketing area.
2. Take the MRT-3 to Cubao Station. Go to the bridgeway that connects Farmer’s Plaza to Gateway Mall. Take the elevator to the 5th floor and exit in the Gateway Tower. The Gateway Art Gallery is next to the Topiary Garden.
