Maxi Mango (Gateway Mall, Quezon City)

The first time Maxi Mango entered my consciousness was middle of 2019. I saw a throng of customers patiently lining up for a cup of mango flavored soft-serve in a cup. I was curious because I love mango and their deconstructed mango float looked like love in a cylindrical container. However, the kilometric queue of humans dissuaded me from trying it.

During the holidays, Hope and I were in Gateway as soon as the mall opened. We decided to wander around the area while waiting for peristalsis to take hold of our brunch. While walking around aimlessly, we chanced upon Maxi Mango. There were only two people occupying one table, so we were elated to finally sit down and have a well-deserved dessert.

At that time, the other products of Maxi Mango were not available yet. However, Maxi Mango’s Mango Tapioca was ready. We bought four – two for us and two for Hope’s nephews. Sorry, lovely TR, they do not make Mango Tapioca in your size. Not yet.

Each bottle of Mango Tapioca has fresh milk, small cubes of nata de coco, tapioca, and tiny slices of mangoes. They were like soupy fruit salad or milk and dessert combined in one container.

Maxi Mango’s Mango Tapioca was delicious and refreshing. I cannot wait until I taste their other products, especially mango float.
