Perfecto Mercado amassed art exhibit materials, sketches, news article clippings, studies for paintings, books, and awards in his 40-year art career. Some of his prized possessions include Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Magazine that features his watercolor paintings, awards he got from GSIS Museo ng Sining and the Art Association of the Philippines, and some of the few existing drawings in his family’s collection.
