Café Laguna is one of the several dining areas in The Mallberry Suites Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City. Our group had dinner there because we stayed in The Mallberry Suites Hotel (their buffet breakfast was decent, with nice and fluffy pancakes and fudgy dessert bars).

Sinigang na Sugpo, P300.00 (US $6.00). The hot soup was like a loving hug after a day of travelling. It had enough kick that is common in sinigang and the sugpo was sweet.
Ampalaya with Shrimps, P205.00 (US $4.10). I like ampalaya and I love shrimps, and fortunately this dish did not disappoint. The ampalaya was not bitter and the shrimps were juicy.
Crispy Pata, P350.00 (US $7.00). This crispy pata was sooo good. It was truly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Ohemghee. I am saying this even after eating Iligan lechon three times in two days. By the way, Iligan lechon is super tasty. It is finger-licking good.
The staff of Café Laguna was nice and always smiling. The service was prompt.
