Disney+’s The Mandalorian in two words: Baby Yoda.
Baby
Yoda is actually called The Child in The Mandalorian series, but its similitude
to Yoda and the fact that it looks like a babe that floats on a bassinette,
coos instead of talks, touches things it should not touch makes it Baby
Yoda. Baby Yoda’s matcha hue, wrinkled
forehead, carabao mango at the cusp of ripeness-colored pointy ears, and bottomless
pit of black diamond ginormous eyes make him the cutest baby character
in the entire Star Wars universe. Yes, he trumps BB-8 in the cuteness
department. I am not surprised at all that The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) lays
down his life to protect Baby Yoda moments after meeting him.
Disney+’s The Mandalorian in more than two words: the struggles of a single father as he tries to give his son a better future in a world where chaos and horror reign. I am kidding. But I am not incorrect. Hehehe. Seriously, The Mandalorian is that in a nutshell. Just replace “single father” with “bounty hunter”, “son” with “50-year old green alien with unfathomable powers”, “better future” with “not to fall into the evil Imperial hands and be torture to death”, retain “in a world where chaos and horror reign” and add “in a galaxy far far away” and we have The Mandalorian.

The following are quotes from Disney+ The Mandalorian:
The Mandalorian Chapter 1: The Mandalorian Quotes:
“I can bring you in warm. Or I can bring you in cold.” – The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal)
“They think the whole entire planet is their own personal stink pit.” –
“’Stay off the ice.’ That’s the understatement of the millennium.” – Mythrol
“I like your ship. She’s a classic. Razor Crest, am I right? Pre-Empire?” – Mythrol
“Is it true that you guys never take off your helmets?” – Mythrol
“I mean I can do it here, but if you’ve never seen a Fledgling Mythrol evacuate their thorax, you’re a lucky guy, trust me.” – Mythrol
“It might take a while. I’m molting.” – Mythrol
“This is Doctor Pershing. Please excuse his lack of decorum. His enthusiasm outweighs his discretion. Please lower your blaster.” –The Client (Werner Herzog)
“Alive. Although, I acknowledge that bounty hunting is a complicated profession. This being the case, proof of termination is also acceptable for a lower fee.” – The Client
“I’m afraid discretion dictates a less traditional agreement. We can only offer you a tracking fob.” – The Client
“The Beskar belongs back into the hands of a Mandalorian. It is good to restore the natural order of things after a period of such disarray, don’t you agree?” – The Client
“You are Mandalorian! Your ancestors rode the great Mythosaur. Surely you can ride this young foal.” – Kuiil (Nick Nolte)
Kuiil: Since these ones arrived, this territory has been an endless stream of mercenaries seeking reward and bringing destruction.
The Mandalorian: Then why did you guide me?
Kuiil: They do not belong here. Those that live here come to seek peace. There will be no peace until they’re gone.
The Mandalorian: Then why do you help?
Kuiil: I have never met a Mandalorian. I’ve only read the stories. If they are true, you will make quick work of it. Then there will again be peace. I have spoken.
“I will of course receive the reputation merits associated with the mission.” – Bounty Droid (Taika Waititi)
Bounty Droid: It appears we are trapped. I will initiate self-destruct sequencing.
The Mandalorian: Whoa, your what?
Bounty Droid: Manufacturer’s Protocol dictates I cannot be captured. I must self-destruct.
The Mandalorian: Wait. They said 50 years old.
Bounty Droid: Species age differently. Perhaps it could live many centuries. Sadly, we’ll never know.
The Mandalorian: No. We’ll bring it in alive.
Bounty Droid: The commission
was quite specific. The asset was to be terminated.
The Mandalorian Chapter 2: The Child Quotes:
Kuiil: I thought you were dead. This is what was causing all the fuss?
The Mandalorian: I think it’s a child.
Kuiil: It is better to deliver it alive then.
“Hey! Spit that out.” – The Mandalorian
Kuiil: They really don’t like you for some reason.
The Mandalorian: Well, I did disintegrate a few of them.
Kuiil: You need to drop your rifle.
The Mandalorian: I’m a Mandalorian. Weapons are part of my religion.
Kuiil: Then you are not getting your parts back.
The Mandalorian: Fine.
Kuiil: And the blaster.
“I’m not gonna trade anything. These are my parts. They stole them from me.” – The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian: I’m surprised you waited.
Kuiil: I’m surprised you took so long.
The Mandalorian: I cannot thank you enough. Please allow me to give you a portion of the reward.
Kuiil: I cannot accept. You are my guest, and I am therefore in your service.
The Mandalorian: I could use a crew member of your ability, and I can pay handsomely.
Kuiil: I am honored, but I have worked a lifetime to finally be free of servitude.
The Mandalorian: I understand. Then all I can offer is my thanks.
Kuiil: And I offer mine. Thank you for bringing peace to
my valley. And good luck with The Child. May it survive and bring you a
handsome reward. I have spoken.
The Mandalorian Chapter 3: The Sin Quotes:
“Mando. I’ve received your transmission. Wonderful news. Upon your return, deliver the quarry directly to the client. I have no idea if he wants to eat it or hang it on his wall, but he’s very antsy. Safe passage! You know where to find me.” – Greef Karga (Carl Weathers)
“It’s not a toy.” – The Mandalorian
“Your reputation was not unwarranted.” – The Client
“It’s such a large bounty for such a small package. What are your plans for it? How uncharacteristic of one of your reputation. You have taken both commission and payment. Is it not the Code of the Guild that these events are now forgotten? That Beskar is enough to make a handsome replacement for your armor. Unfortunately, finding a Mandalorian in these trying times is more difficult than finding the steel. ” – The Client
“My armor has lost its integrity. I may need to begin again.” – The Mandalorian
“Our secrecy is our survival. Our survival is our strength.” – The Armorer (Emily Swallow)
The Armorer: The Empire is no longer. And the Beskar has returned. When one chooses to walk the Way of the Mandalore, you are both hunter and prey. How can one be a coward if one chooses this way of life? Have you ever removed your helmet?
The Mandalorian: No.
The Armorer: Has it ever been removed by others?
The Mandalorian: Never.
The Armorer: This is the Way.
Others: This is the Way.
The Mandalorian: This is the Way.
The Mandalorian: It wasn’t a noble kill. I was helped by an enemy.
The Armorer: Why would an enemy help you in battle?
The Mandalorian: It did not know it was my enemy.
“Whistling birds are a powerful defense against multiple enemies. Use them sparingly, for they are rare.” – The Armorer
Greef Karga: Ah! Mando! They all hate you, Mando. Because you’re a legend!
The Mandalorian: How many of them had tracking fobs?
Greef Karga: All of them. All of them! But not one of them closed the deal. Only you, Mando. Only you. And with it, the richest reward this parsec has ever seen. Please sit, my friend. They’re all weighing the Beskar in their minds, but not me. No. I, for one, I celebrate your success. Because it is my success as well. Hell! Even I am rich.
“I protected him. I protected him. If it wasn’t for me, he would already be dead! Please! Please.” – Dr. Pershing (Omid Abtahi)
Greef Karga: Welcome back, Mando! Now put the package down.
The Mandalorian: Step aside. I’m going to my ship.
Greef Karga: You put the bounty down, and perhaps I’ll let you pass.
The Mandalorian: The kid’s coming with me.
Greef Karga: If you truly care about the kid, then you’ll put it on the speeder and we’ll discuss terms.
The Mandalorian: How do I know I can trust you?
Greef Karga: Because I’m your only hope.
Greef Karga: That’s one impressive weapon!
The Mandalorian: Here’s what I’ll do. I’m gonna walk to my ship with the kid and you’re gonna let it happen.
Greef Karga: No. How about this? We take the kid, and if you try to stop us, we kill you and we strip your body for parts.
“I gotta get one of those.” – The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian Chapter 4: Sanctuary Quotes:
“Stop touching things.” – The Mandalorian
“Let’s see. Sorgan. Looks like there’s no star port, no industrial centers, no population density. Real backwater skug hole. Which means it’s perfect for us. You ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple of months, you little womp rat? Nobody’s gonna find us here.” – The Mandalorian
“Listen. I’m gonna go out there, and I’m gonna look around. It shouldn’t take too long. Now, don’t touch anything. I’ll find us some lodging, then I’ll come back for you. You stay right here. You stay. Don’t move. You understand? Great.” – The Mandalorian
“Oh, what the hell? Come on.” – The Mandalorian
“You want some soup?” – The Mandalorian
Cara Dune: Well, this has been a real treat, but unless you wanna go another round, one of us is gonna have to move on, and I was here first.
The Mandalorian: Well, looks like this planet’s taken.
The Mandalorian: Ready for round two?
Cara Dune: So, we’re basically running off a band of Raiders for lunch money?
The Mandalorian: They’’re quartering us in the middle of nowhere. Last I checked, that’s a pretty square deal for somebody in your position. Worst case scenario, you tune up your blaster. Best case, we’re a deterrent. I can’t imagine there’s anything living in these trees that an ex-shock trooper couldn’t handle.
“Hi.” – The Child
“This nice man is going to help protect us from the bad ones.” – Omera (Julia Jones)
Omera: Do you mind if ask you something?
The Mandalorian: Go ahead.
Omera: How long has it been since you’ve taken that off?
The Mandalorian: Yesterday.
Omera: I mean, in front of someone else.
The Mandalorian: I wasn’t much older than they are.
Omera: You haven’t shown your face to anyone since you were a kid?
The Mandalorian: No. I was happy that they took me in. My parents were killed and the Mandalorians took care of me.
Omera: I’m sorry.
The Mandalorian: This is the Way.
“Take the bait, you hunk of junk.” – The Mandalorian
Cara Dune: So, what happens if you take that thing off? They come after you and kill you?
The Mandalorian: No. You just can’t ever put it back on again.
Cara Dune: That’s it? So you can slip off the helmet, and settle down with that beautiful young widow, and raise your kid sitting here, sipping spotchka?
The Mandalorian: You know, we raised some hell here a few weeks back. It’s too much action for a backwater town like this. Word travels fast. We might wanna cycle the charts and move on.
Cara Dune: Would not wanna be the one who’s gotta tell him.
The Mandalorian: I’m leaving him here. Traveling with me, that’s no life for a kid. I did my job, he’s safe. Better chance at a life.
Cara Dune: Come on.
The Mandalorian: Come on.
Cara Dune: It’s gonna break his little heart.
The Mandalorian: He’ll get over it. We all do.
“I don’t belong here. But he does.” – The Mandalorian
“I will look after him as one of my own.” – Omera
Cara Dune: Who’s he tracking?
The Mandalorian: The kid.
Cara Dune: Then, they’ll keep on coming.
