Christmas 2016 – Starless Parol Edition

A short stretch of road in Barangay Valencia, Quezon City is home to several parol (Christmas lantern) sellers. A couple of stores are open all year round to sell their Capiz shell-based parol while others join the frenzy when the ber months start on September 1.

In a previous entry, I posted the five-star parol inspired lanterns. They are gorgeous unlit but they are fantastic when they display a repertoire of dizzying bright lights. To look at their photos, please read this.

This entry is about the other Christmas decors that share the limelight with the parol in the stores that sell holiday cheer at the right price.

The story (based the captions of the photos) that follows is 100% baseless and exists only in my mind.
