Nakamise Shopping Street (Tokyo, Japan)

Nakamise Dori or Nakamise Shopping Street in Asakusa is a 250-meter long shopping destination within the grounds of Sensoji or Asakusa Kannon Temple. The quarter of a kilometer lane, which is from Kaminarimon or main gate of Sensoji to Hozomon or the second gate, is bordered by around 90 shops. The shops sell from traditional Japanese souvenirs, sweets, and all things kawaii (cute). Shopping in Nakamise Dori is a frenzy experience as shoppers compete with Sensoji visitors for place and shoppers also have to apportion their time between the charms, clothes, and crackers that tempt them and visiting the temple.

Nakamise Dori is the perfect place for those who are looking for Japanese souvenirs or pasalubong.
