It is not everyday that I meet a rock star, but last week I did encounter one. His name is Jamba the Pug.

Yes, he is a pug. An adorable, photogenic and unassuming dog who makes girls shriek with delight in his presence. Like a lot of rock stars, Jamba goes by another name, Yoda, which is maybe due to his overly pronounced folds of wrinkles. He also looks as contemplative as the Jedi master. I bet that if he could talk, he would jumble the words in his sentences. Unlike Yoda and his one dowdy garment, Jamba has a closet full of costumes that can make any girl turn green with envy. He has the perfect outfit for any occasion and the complementary accessory to boost his rock star appeal.

As a fan, I asked Jamba “slum book” questions, which he, with the help of his owner, gamely answered. Jamba fangirls, take note.

  • Birthday: Feb 3, 2015 (We share the same birthday. I can say that the Force is strong with this one.)
  • Weight: 9.3 kilograms
  • Hobbies: Sleeping, stealing slippers and eating
  • Likes: Food, any food
  • Dislikes: Plastic bottled water, especially the round container for plastic dispensers
  • Personality: Charming, cute, naughty, hungry 24/7, clingy and introverted
