Filipina Fashion Gallantry: An Independence Day Fashion Exhibit

I went shopping in two and a half malls yesterday. One of those malls was Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City.

I chanced upon a public viewing called Filipina Fashion Gallantry: An Independence Day Fashion Exhibit in the upper ground floor of Robinsons Magnolia.  Ten intricately-made gowns were featured. They were the works of Benedick Eroa Couture, Daniel Hinrincher, Ethan John, Felizo, Gary Bautista, Gil Granado, James O’ Briant, Jolaida Niccolai, Maestro John, Nomer Cerbito, and Randy Daleon Satin.

Filipina Fashion Gallantry: An Independence Day Fashion Exhibit runs from June 8 to 14, 2019.

I know nothing about gowns but I am writing to the Filipinas who came before me and paved the way for my generation to experience the freedom (in all ways) that we enjoy, the Philippine independence day celebration on June 12, and the designers who made these Filipiniana gowns.

This white number has beautiful bodice. It reminds me of Reyna Elena gowns of old days.
This blue and green combination of beads looks like a fun garment to wear.
TR adores this gown because it has all the elements that she loves: pink, rainbow colors, shiny metallic objects, and more pink.
Golden like the sun
The green is arresting
I like the top part because it looks very feminine
The headdress is a winner
One of the simplest gowns in the bunch
The form and the color are flattering
Mellow yellow
