I like sweets, especially chocolates. I also like cheesy lines to some extent. Unit 16 Sweets, local manufacturer of chocolates, combines the two in its chocolate bars wrapped in hugot lines. The Davao-based seller offers two types of chocolate bars: dark and semi-dark. The dark chocolates have six flavors: Chili, Sea Salt, Peppermint, Salted Caramel, Dulce de Leche, and Cappuccino. These flavored chocolate bars cost P50 ($ 1.01) each while the semi-dark chocolate bars cost P35 ($ 0.70) each. They affordable, sweet in more ways than one and can be personalized.

The dark chocolate flavors are Chili, Sea Salt, Peppermint, Salted Caramel, Dulce de Leche, and Cappuccino.
The semi-dark chocolate bars have more playful messages on the wrapper. These are perfect for the holiday season.
One of the wrappers has a message, “Dalawang beses lang naman kita nais makasama, now and forever.” (I want to be with you only twice, now and forever). ‘Di ba ang corny pero nakakakilig? Hahaha.
And more hugot lines on the left side of this photo. I am sure whoever receives these chocolates will either say “awww, so sweet” or roll her/his eyes.
Since I am not an overly cheesy person, I bought these:
Unit 16 Sweets Semi-dark Chocolate with “I LOVE MLA”. The wrapper shows some of the historical places in Manila City, Rizal Monument in Rizal Park, Manila and the Manila Post Office (correct me if I am wrong). This bar cost, P35 ($ 0.70)
In support of President Rodrigo Duterte’s call for change, Unit 16 Sweets has “Ako ang Pagbabago” (I am Change/I represent change.) chocolate bar.
