Pelikula/Película: Manila Spanish Film Festival 2016 (Iloilo, Baguio & Davao)

The 2016 edition of Pelikula/Película: Manila Spanish Film Festival 2016 will have selected screenings outside Metro Manila, thanks to its collaboration with Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). These include screenings in my beautiful province of Iloilo from November 10 to 13, in Baguio City from November 16 to 20 and in Davao City from December 1 to 4 of this year. All screenings will held at the local Cinematheque Centers in said cities.

Four Spanish full-length films, four Spanish short-films and two Filipino short films by up and coming directors will be exhibited. The full-length films include El Rayo by Ernesto de Nova and Fran Araujo, Sacromonte, Los Sabios de la Tribu by Chus Gutiérrez, Las Ovejas no Pierden el Tren by Álvaro Fernández Armero, and Azul y no tan Rosa by Miguel Ferrari. The Spanish short-films are Bikini by Oscar Bernácer, El Corredor by José Luis Montesinos, Todo un Futuro Juntos by Pablo Remón and Viaje a Pies by Khris Cembe. The Filipino short-films are Digpa ning Aiti, a drama by director Bor Ocampo and Impas by Elbert Bañares.
