Christmas 2016 – Belen (San Juan City), Part II

Last week, I posted photos of San Juan City’s life-size model of belen taken after dusk. It adorns part of the front yard of San Juan City Hall. To view the photos, please proceed here.

Also last week, I went to the city hall in the middle of the day to get a document. It was a sunny day punctuated by strong winds. As I was leaving the city hall, the life-size members of the belen, especially the donkey, beckoned me to pause for a few minutes and take their photos. I had an umbrella in one hand and my phone in another as I battled the sun and the wind to snap their photos in daylight.

Here are some photos of the San Juan City belen:

The manger scene with the three wise men visiting Jesus Christ

Other visitors of Jesus Christ.

These four vendors are in the left side of the Nativity display.

They look like they are having a one-sided conversation.

Going back to my favorite part of the Nativity scene, the donkey, who looks better good even in daylight.
