Cheese has never been at the top of the food pyramid for me. Truth to be told, for many years, I have an aversion to cheese. However, lately I have been more open about my dairy food choices. This recent development has made me taste Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese.

Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese comes in three variants: Bold & Cheesy, Jalapeño, and Flamin’ Hot.

Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese Bold & Cheesy is as the namely suggests bold, cheesy and full of Cheetos flavor. This is the classic mac and cheese that one normally craves for. I cooked this following the direction on the box (with butter and milk) and the outcome was definitely creamy and cheesy. It was more than enough to feed two people (it says on the box that it has 2.5 servings).

Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese Jalapeño is the classic mac with a kick! This creamy and over-the-top cheesy creation has the right amount of heat to make things a little more adventurous. This is my favorite among the three variants. It is creamy and cheesy like the Bold & Cheesy but its flavored sauce causes my tongue to tingle in excitement.

Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese Flamin’ Hot is hot like the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. This is not for the faint-hearted, but those courageous enough to gamble their taste buds will be greatly rewarded. This one is a little too hot for me. I finished the whole box but I had to have drinking water nearby (no more milk).

Each variant comes in two sizes: a 164-gram box and a 66-gram quick-cook cup. The Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese content of 164-gram box can be cooked using a microwave or a stove top. Butter or margarine, water, and milk are needed to make a creamy, cheesy, and easy to love Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese in around 15 to 20 minutes. One can opt to add Cheetos Crunchy or Puffs to add texture to the mac and cheese. Like the box, the contents of a quick-cook cup can be cooked using stove top or microwave. And a steaming mac and cheese will be ready in three minutes.

Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese has a flavor that will appeal to all. True to its claim, all variants are creamy and cheesy, and they make mac and cheese preparation easy and breezy.
