The Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 2 or the purple line that snakes its way along Aurora Boulevard from Recto to Santolan stations has been my primary mode of transportation for 15 months. As such, I am quite familiar to the changes in the outer appearance of the trains. These changes are the wrap ads that grace the front and sides of the coaches of LRT Line 2. These ads in motion make waiting for the trains a little more enjoyable. I miss the cool blue of the Rexona ad a cycle ago, but the anticipation for the new LRT Line 2 wrap ads more than makes up for it.
I took the photos that follow while waiting for the trains to arrive with the exception of the elusive Ghostbusters ads, which I purposely waited on Monday. Luckily, it arrived less than 30 seconds after I had stepped out of the train on the opposite ramp.
The first time I posted the “Taste the Feeling” Coke ad from last cycle, I failed to take a proper photo of it. Now I have the whole imperative sentence and the logo. In one photo. Success!
Lux announced the arrival of its new product through this wrap ad on LRT Line 2 train. This was replaced a few months ago.
Lux’s “Bathe with Perfume Everyday” was just so apt for the ungodly summer heat that lorded over most of its run.
High Sierra Campus and Active Backpacks made its initial appearance on an LRT Line 2 train just before the opening of classes.
MX3 is probably the cheesiest among the LRT Line 2 train ads, but that pop of color has not failed to brighten my day when I see it. Photo by Steve.
The Zagu Pearl Shakes LRT Line 2 train ads do not have a pop of color; they have an explosion of colors.
This Talk N’ Text LRT Line 2 ad replaces Coke in the “Almost There, But not Quite” Award. The whole line says, “It’s a Tropa Thing” but it is too long so I missed letter “G”.
The second instance I took a photo of the Talk N’ Text train ad was not any better, but it shows more colors. ☺

Thank you!
I do not understand what you mean. I wrote the advertisers’ names in the caption of the photos. Please elaborate. Thank you.
